GAN is the indoor and outdoor brand of GANDIA BLASCO GROUP, and also its starting point… José Gandía-Blasco, president of the company, reinvented his family business after a journey of four decades, at the end of the 1980s. True to the origin of the company, José developed new textile lines for the home, betting strongly on design and incorporating the world of rugs into the offering. This is how the original GAN was born.

Through constant learning, tireless research, and an unwavering commitment to traditional techniques and contemporary design, we strive to ensure that craftsmanship evolves and endures. Our goal is to develop collections that are increasingly sustainable, mindful, and dedicated to the wellbeing of everyone involved. In 2004, José Gandía-Blasco Canales began collaborating with Mapi Millet to explore traditional carpet-weaving techniques in India. As longtime friends with shared tastes and sensibilities, they combined their vision and the enthusiasm of the team to establish GAN, a brand that would bring together the textile creations of GANDIABLASCO under a unified proposal.When Mapi Millet became GAN’s creative director in 2008, she defined the brand’s direction. By carefully selecting designers to collaborate with and developing innovative craft techniques to support their work, she shaped GAN’s essence: the fusion of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.
