Ukrainas dizaina iedvesmas

In honour of Ukraine, its people’s energy and resilient spirit, @openad.architects and @trentini.riga share some Ukrainian brands, which have inspired us in our line of work – design.

“We continue to work because the creative process gives us strength. Our thoughts are absolutely with Ukraine. Together with my students at the Art Academy we studied Ukrainian design and architecture brands. We admire the ability to translate tradition into innovation,” states lead architect @zaneteteresulce.

Our partners @trentini.com.ua run a showroom in Kyiv. Owner Mareks Nemme shares: “The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Ukrainian design is ceramics. Brands like Natura Ceramica – a studio from Uzhhorod, and @gornceramicsproduce works of art.

We must also mention our friends, interior and product design studio @yakusha.design whose work we display at our Kyiv showroom. And @katerynasokolova – one of the most renowned Ukrainian designers, the name behind the OXYDATION table and MOLD vase from @ligneroset, which we represent.”

Cieņā pret Ukrainu, tās tautas spēku un nesalaužamo garu, Open AD un Trentini iepazīstina ar ukraiņu zīmoliem, kas iedvesmo mūs, dizaina nozares pārstāvjus.

Kā stāsta @zaneteteresulce: “Mēs turpinām strādāt, jo no radošā procesa smeļamies spēku. Domās nenoliedzami esam ar Ukrainu. Arī manis vadītās nodarbības @dizaina.nodalastudentiem veltījām Ukrainas dizaina un arhitektūras zīmolu izpētei. Apbrīnojam izteikto spēju pārvērst tradicionālo inovatīvā pieredzē.”

Mūsu sadarbības partneriem Trentini Kijivā ir salons. Valdes loceklis Mareks Nemme dalās ar iecienītiem zīmoliem: “Pirmais, kas nāk prātā, runājot par Ukrainas dizainu, ir keramika. Zīmoli kā Natura Ceramica no Užhorodas un Gorn Ceramics rada mākslas darbus.

Nevaram nepieminēt draugus, interjera un produktu dizaina studiju Yakusha Design, kuras darbi ir izstādīti mūsu salonā Kijivā. Un Katerynu Sokolovu, vienu no zināmākajām Ukrainas dizainerēm, kas radījusi OXYDATION galdu un MOLD vāzi mūsu pārstāvētajam zīmolam @ligneroset.”
